Kathleen Fugere, ARNP

Kathleen Fugere, ARNP received her bachelor's degree in psychology, bachelor's degree in nursing, and master's degree in nursing from the University of Washington. She brings more than 20 years of psychiatric clinical experience, with a focus on diagnostic assessment and medication management across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty levels of care.

Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families at Seattle Children's Hospital, college students at the University of Washington's Hall Health Mental Health Clinic, and, most recently, serving for 14 years as a Regional Medical Director specializing in the treatment of eating disorders.

Kathleen's treatment philosophy is individualized and grounded in evidence-based practices, while drawing on her broad clinical experience to think creatively and outside the box when needed. She believes that individuals possess an inherent wisdom and knowledge about themselves that can become clouded by psychiatric symptoms and life stress, and strives to help patients reconnect with those strengths.

She values therapeutic relationships built on trust, mutual respect, and collaboration, recognizing that meaningful treatment begins with truly understanding the person beyond their presenting symptoms.
