SMS Terms
Last updated: September 26, 2026
These terms apply to text messages (SMS) sent by Sound Sage Psychiatry, LLC. The practice sends and receives text messages through Spruce Health.
What messages we send
Text messages from the practice may include appointment reminders and confirmations, scheduling and rescheduling, reminders to complete forms in the patient portal, and replies to messages you send us. Message frequency varies.
Agreeing to receive texts
You will only receive text messages from the practice if you have given us your mobile number and agreed to receive texts. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
How to stop messages
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again by replying START.
Help
Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact the practice at 206-984-5354 or kfugere@soundsagepsych.com.
Texts are not for emergencies
Text messages are not monitored around the clock. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
Privacy
Text messaging is not a fully secure way to share health information. Please keep medical and personal details out of text messages and use the patient portal for anything private.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. For more about how information is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
Delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes and questions
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Questions about text messaging can go to 206-984-5354 or kfugere@soundsagepsych.com.
